EZ CallFilter
- a standalone mini application ranked #1 by Ottawa Business JournalEZ CallFilter enables you to block unwanted calls (Blacklist Rule), or allow certain calls only (Whitelist Rule). You can easily
- create/delete Whitelist (e.g. My Family) or Blacklist (e.g. Telemarketers) rules
- add/remove numbers to/from a rule
- wildcard support in rule configuration (e.g. blocking 1800*)
- activate/de-activate rules manually or by schedule (at specific time)
- manage filtered call logs
- other goodies: block call quietly; user can specify blocking method (voicemail or drop); convenient alert
- more: built-in rules for unknown numbers, addressbook, block all; Join National Don't Call List interface
- even more: fully integrated with Phone logs and addressbook (Contact)
A "Rule" contains a list of numbers. PhoneBasics Call Filter provides three default rules:
-- Address Book List (White): contains whatever numbers in phone's address book
-- Block All (Black): All numbers
-- Block Unknown Numbers (Black): Any incoming call that hides its number
You should create your own "whitelist" or "blacklist" rules for better control. A Rule is not in effect until it is activated.
- When Whitelist rules are activated, all numbers in the rules will be allowed; while all other numbers will be blocked
- When Blacklist rules are activated, all numbers in the rules will be blocked; while all other numbers will be allowed
